About Us
The driving force behind Poppyseed Catering is the dynamic team that is Michelle Campbell and Callum Campbell. They've been in the hospitality industry for many years now and also been the proud owners of two very successful cafes in Adelaide - Brown Dog Cafe on Goodwood Rd being their last venture.
Michelle has had her training cooking in some of the finest establishments around town. Starting her journey at Citrus and the Green Olive, The Treasury, E.T.C cafe, Carrick Hill, and Thunderbird Catering to name but a few. It was while working at Thunderbird Catering under head chef Simon Burr that gave her the opportunity to really expand on her knowledge of catering for large functions and intimate gatherings.
A lot of this work included catering for local and international film shoots, providing her with the skills to be able to work within tight budgets and flexible situations - a skill very much needed for corporate catering.
Callum has been the face of both the cafes and runs a tight ship with his waiters, providing a sleek and professional attitude all with a smile.
